THE KITTENS
I have six healthy and friendly older foster kittens available to adopt to responsible and loving human(s). .
The
kitties were born the last week of August 2024. They have been loved,
nurtured, and well-taken care of by their mother and myself.
There are two longhair males, two short hair males and two short hair females. All are black.
They
are all very affectionate, and playful. Their mother has passed along
to them her sweet disposition, easygoing nature, and enjoyment of
physical affection. They want and need companionship, and love lap
time, cuddles and ear scritches.
There are no bonded pairs, but
they all get along with each other, fyi in the event you might be
interested in adopting more than one.
They are mildly vocal,
letting you know when something is amiss ("water dish spilled!") or when
they are happy (purring, trilling, chirping) Meal prep is the time for
actual meows.
The long hairs have a ruff around the neck and their black fur is
very soft and has a very slight brown cast to it. The have a larger and
sturdier build than the shorthairs, and they have a heavy step. The short hairs have shiny black fur and sleek build (I call them "the panthers.")
They have all stayed indoors since birth.
BACKGROUND ON MOTHER CAT
Mama
cat was brought to me by neighbors in July. She was in early pregnancy,
perhaps “let out” by her humans because of her pregnancy, but otherwise
seemed to have been well-taken care of, and very friendly, and showing
no signs of neglect or abuse. I made efforts to find her humans, but had
no luck.
The births took place August 27. When it was her time,
Mama cat came to me and laid down by my chair, although she had many
secluded spaces to choose from. So I laid down beside her and stayed
with her through the six births. Fortunately all six were born quickly
and without issues.
She has been a very good mother, attentive to her kids, and has passed along to them her sweet and sociable nature.
ALSO
Although
their individual personalities are just starting to develop, these
kitties are all friendly, gentle souls who want and need companionship
and physical affection. They would do best in a home that was looking
for the same.
