SEPTEMBER 2025

Name - Sweet Girl
1 year, 8.5 lb.
Not vetted, I only vetted the mother, cannot afford the rest.
Reason for surrender, I have been fostering Sweet Girl and her littermates (mother was a stray who came to me pregnant) Need to find someone to take over fostering. Although she has been very late to her first heat, I am afraid time is running out and until I can place the brothers this situation risks pregnancy, and I am low-income elderly who can't afford to vet another cat.
~~~~
Likes - Sweet Girl enjoys human company and friendly animals, loves physical affection including tummy rubs, loves being brushed (nubbed bristles preferred), lap and cuddling enjoyed, boxes!, climbing, birdwatching, gently playful.
Dislikes - a little shy about eating wet food around others because of previous aggression by brothers. Bothered if litter box not kept up.
~~~~
No biting or behavior issues. Very mellow kitty, easily handled, I named her Sweet Girl because it truly describes her. Mother is very affectionate and nurturing, and she has passed along to her babies her sweet disposition.

    SAVE THE DATE:
    Jubilee 2025: Pilgrims of Hope

    We will celebrate a public Jubilee Prayer Experience on Friday evening, October 3, at Mount St. Benedict Monastery. Details to come. On December 24, 2024, Pope Francis inaugurated the Ordinary Jubilee Year 2025. In speaking about the Jubilee Year, he frequently made reference to the troubling times in which we live. The year's theme offers a response: Jubilee 2025: Pilgrims of Hope. A Jubilee Year, usually called every 25 years, is a time to bring about justice and reconciliation, a time of mercy and compassion. It originates in scripture: “Proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you.” (Lev. 25:10)
