ELECTIONS & GOVERNANCE
Mary Rennie Resigns
(Erie News Now) Erie County Councilwoman Mary Rennie resigned
immediately 7/24/23. "This is not about political agendas. It's about
the importance of public process — something I have fought to preserve. I
have come to believe that it has been compromised and destabilized to
such a degree in less than two short years that any end product will
never make up for the damage done. In the final analysis, the actions of
the majority of County Council do not represent me or my values. I do
not wish for their legacy to be my legacy."
