TRAIN
Update+++Pa.'s Casey, Fetterman join Ohio counterparts to call for more federal action on Ohio train derailment - Pennsylvania Capital-Star (penncapital-star.com)

State officials vowed Thursday to hold freight hauler Norfolk Southern accountable for the damage inflicted by a fiery train derailment along the Pennsylvania/Ohio border earlier this month. Kim Lyons and Marley Parish have the story.
TOXIC TESTING: Residents impacted by a toxic train derailment steps from the Ohio-Pennsylvania border are suing to force Norfolk Southern to set up health monitoring for residents in both states, the AP reports. Some have complained about headaches and sickness since. Officials blame an axle defect for the crash, while unions blame Wall Street, saying profit motives have squeezed safety checks.
