Some Updates on Keep Our Library Public!

"Keep Our Library Public (KOLP) is exploring our legal options--including the merits of filing a lawsuit--in order to prevent a private, religious institution from leasing space in the Blasco Erie County Public Library in Erie, PA. Contributions are greatly welcome and needed to fund this effort, but are not tax-deductible."
"The purpose of KOLP is to dissolve the lease between Erie County, PA and Gannon University in the Blasco Erie County Public Library. A secondary function of KOLP is to promote patronage of the Blasco Erie County Library and its branches This involves retaining legal representation and fundraising to pay for said legal representation."

Jamestown BPU Retool conference June 11 at Chautauqua Harbor Hotel working to raise awareness of economic "opportunities for clean tech companies and encourage the development and expansion of climate technology-related businesses in the region."

That Harborcreek wave energy thing  The project seems to have some noticeable ties to Brenton Davis and Gannon's Project NeptWne. At this stage the owner mainly seems to just be looking for investors and grants. Just sharing that info, no judgments on the actual technology either way. It does however bring up more questions about exactly what the Gannon "lab" rental is actually about, especially since water quality lab work and energy research don't have a lot in common.
